He announces tariffs and the media goes crazy then he talks with the leader of the nation and folds like a card table.. Lather, Rinse, Repeat..
Trump doesn’t know when or who we’re attacking. He certainly doesn’t know the “plan” for a liberating tax.
Sincerely, I belive he thinks “liberation” is more like an expression, a synonym for “invigorating”, or “refreshing”.
The media always focuses on the “buyers remorse” of voters who regret the way they voted in the last election. But I’d be interested in knowing how many people in the current administration are beginning to experience the same type of feeling for accepting their positions in the administration.
* Marco Rubio’s decision to accept the position of Secretary of State has essentially ended whatever small chance he ever had at winning the presidency.
* Elise Stefanik’s decision to accept the nomination for the US Ambassador to the UN cost her the Chair of the House Republican Conference.
* Matt Gaetz’s decision to immediately resign from the US House of Representatives to accept the nomination for US Attorney General caused him so much embarrassment that he ended up as a news anchor at OANN rather than returning to the US House in the next congress.
If high profile career politicians are already getting burned by the administration, this early in, I can only imagine how much of a headache things must be for general staffers and aides.
0 days without being an embarrassment.
