Princess Beatrice’s net worth is reportedly set to increase in a few years. The Royal, who is celebrating her 36th birthday today, is anticipated to receive a portion of the £5 million left by the late Queen Mother when she turns 40, similar to her cousin, Prince Harry.
This follows the decision by Queen Elizabeth II’s mother to leave most of her wealth to her great-grandchildren. To ensure her wishes were fulfilled after her death, in 1994, the Queen Mother placed approximately two-thirds of her money, around £19 million, into a trust fund for this generation of royals.
As reported by The Guardian, Prince William and Prince Harry inherited the majority of the money, dividing £6 million from the trust between them when they turned 21. Additionally, the brothers are set to split another £8 million on their 40th birthdays.
The Times suggests that Harry will receive a larger share than his brother, while the remaining £5 million is expected to be divided among the Queen Mother’s ten great-grandchildren. If the distribution given to Harry and William is any indication, Beatrice, being closest in line to the throne among her remaining cousins, would likely receive the largest portion of the £5m.
Despite not receiving as much as her older cousins, Princess Beatrice and her sister Eugenie previously made millions when their parents’ marriage ended in the nineties.
When Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson divorced, the settlement stipulated that a trust would be established for the Duchess of York and her daughters.
Reports suggest that they received a £3 million settlement from the British Royal family, with £1.4 million of this sum being placed in a trust for Beatrice and Eugenie.
The nieces of King Charles were removed from the Sovereign Grant list of royals, who receive UK government funds, upon their university graduation.
After graduating in 2011, Beatrice held various roles, including positions at Sony Pictures and software firm Afiniti, where she secured a role as Vice President of Strategic Partnerships.
Celebrity Net Worth estimates Princess Beatrice’s net worth to be around $1 million (£786k), but it remains unclear whether this figure is in liquid assets, and it’s expected to rise when she turns 40.
Beatrice’s husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, is also reportedly worth millions as the founder of Banda, a property consultancy firm specialising in discreetly sourcing and developing multi-million-pound homes for affluent clients.
Meanwhile, Beatrice’s younger sister Eugenie is estimated to be worth up to $4.5 million (£3.5m) and works as an associate director for the contemporary art gallery Hauser and Wirth.
Harry, Beatrice’s cousin, is said to be worth $60 million (£47m), with his wealth seemingly increasing following his exit from the Royal Family, alongside wife Meghan Markle.
Her elder cousin, Prince William, has an estimated net worth of a whopping $100 million (£78m), and also possesses a range of high-value assets, including the magnificent Anmer Hall in Norfolk, which he shares with his wife, Princess Kate.
