The direct opposite of Russia in some ways (and to some extent the US); democracy, free speech, equality, workers rights. Not saying Europe doesn’t have issues to varying degrees, too.

it is simplier. putin did not weaken the eu and western civilisation. they were weak just we did not know it..
As an American, I get jealous seeing how other nations get to have actual leadership. Mark Carney, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Keir Starmer, Jonas Gahr Støre…. there’s no such thing as a perfect leader. But their response to what we’ve got here in the United States stands in such stark contrast.
I don’t know if we’ll get through this, but I hope people around the world know that half of the US does not in any way support anything that’s happening in these conflicts. Ukraine deserves sovereignty and the only ‘terms’ for ending this is for Putin to pack up his toys and GTFO of the map of Ukraine prior to 2014.
Same approach as Musk, Vance and all like them.

Zelenskyy is right. Russia has been way more successful weakening its prey from within than attacking them militarily. If Putin were smart, he’d stop trying to conquer and return to subverting. He has done way better against Georgia than Ukraine. He’d be smart to take any deal he can get to stop fighting in Ukraine and get back to the business of subversion. We should keep Russia on the hook in Ukraine so he can’t do that.
History will remember Zelensky, what a phenomenal human being. Proud of the UK standing with him. Long may it continue.
Well he managed to take control over US, and he has already few Europen countries in his grasp (Hungary, Slovakia). So yeah… it is kind of scary, but it is not unrealistic for him to get Europe in his pocket in forseeable future.
