Not that it was ever going to happen but definitely feel more relaxed after watching

  1. A video of her just laughing at the prospect for 2 minutes would have been even more fun to watch.

  2. The amount of articles posted here about this lad is unreal, almost an obsession for some. There is literally nothing to be concerned about. He won’t get any nomination either from sitting TD or local councils as he’s too toxic and the backlash would be unimaginable and career suicide for anyone who did.

So he’s not getting near the ballot. Then in the highly unlikely event he gets on the ballot, no one is going to vote for him. The so called far right boogeyman got a collective 16 votes in the November election. They can’t mobilize themselves out of a paper bag.

Finally, in the highly unlikely event of him even being elected, there is strong precedent across the EU (Romania) where elections can be rerun where Russian interference is clear.

This should give everyone a degree of comfort, that there are serious mechanisms in place within the state that can stop people like this getting a position even remotely powerful

  3. Is anyone actually secretly worried that if he did… he might get some serious voting numbers?

  4. Firstly. I really hope you’re right.
But you could be wrong here.
Plenty of Americans can vote for our president, and they will if Trump promotes him.
Those same “Irish Americans” can regugitate Gregors bullshit on social media, and that’s not Russian interference from bot farms. Those are actually ignorant people, legally expressing their veiw.
I’m not trying to fear monger, but we we have to take this seriously.
In the US elections and Brexit; people who thought, “Don’t worry, it’ll never happen,” stayed at home on voting day.

Edit: I’m wrong about the Americans being able to vote for our president.

  5. Hey conor, if you’re on here checking out what real Irish people think of you or your campaign.

When you pull your head off the mirror and get around hearing options outside your little bubble.

Piss off over to the US where they’ll blow you all day long, while you talk nonsense about ireland that nobody here agrees with.

  6. McGregor knows full well he wasn’t going to be nominated, it was never about that. It’s about getting eyes on a burgeoning movement of right-wing lunatics that’s festering on this island and on that he’s succeeding.

  7. Good he’s rapist and a fucking bully who doesn’t even live here. Let him be forgotten by history and die alone.

  8. The best thing you all could just do aboit it is stop posting articles about this fella, let him fall into a hole in the ground and be forgotten. He is filth and does not deserve attention of any kind.

  9. Fun how it would have been a possibility if just he wasn’t a moron.

  10. *Fact-check: Unlikely that rapist Conor Mcgregor can run for Irish presidency.

  11. As much as I hate the man the fact the government don’t want him makes me want him he is a Muppet at best but can’t be any worse than the shower we have he is a billionaire and has connections all over the world that only our government would love to have if he was put in right could be good for the country cause let’s face facts it’s pretty much fucked as is.

  12. I think he is the president Ireland deserves. With all this housing/healthcare malarchy. Youth gangs will love him

  13. Ye I understand he should not be the face of Ireland as much as he is known as it by the yanks he shouldn’t be president if so he would have no power still he couldn’t leave the country then

  14. CONOR MCGREGOR IS A RAPIST AND FITS IN WELL WITH THE OTHER CREEPS AND RAPISTS IN THE WHITE HOUSE

  15. Dear Conor McGregor,

    No.

    Sincerely yours,
    Shane.

    (And probably everyone else)
