    Is it one that’s got 50%+ components made in the US but assembled in Canada or Mexico?

    One made from foreign components that’s assembled in the US?

    One that’s 50%+ and assembled in the US?

    Or maybe one that is assembled in the US and has 100% US components, with all of the components of those components ts being made in the US, with US materials?

    Does it have to be an American brand?

    How many cars are there going to be left to buy, will any be available on the forecourts and will you be able to buy anything that isn’t a pick up truck or Tesla?

  25. So who actually gets the money? I’m assuming the government who imposed the tariff? Ie the us is collecting money and then will give it back to friends & whoever lobbies the most? When other counties don’t want to pay and stop selling to the us, us consumers have fewer products/choices, higher prices and the gov has no more incoming tariff money?
