Just a phone number to Twint to but everything open for grabs.
I‘m swiss myself and have seen lots of these but it always reminds me of how nice we have it here for this being able to exist.
Sometimes it‘s good to be reminded of the privilege we have while the world feels so troubled right now.

Ours got stolen from so many times, you have to call a number for it to open.
My heart dropped a little when I saw the sign.
One time i was working on an antenna in the mountains, thankfully there was one of these kiosks a short walk away, got some cheese and a salame and i felt like a shepherd in the middle ages, priceless experience

If you are in Basel anytime soon you can shop in a trust based grocery store – Bioflix. 24/7 local and organic food 🙂
Last year I was doing a brutal hike somewhere between Glarus and Graubünden, day 5 of 11, the heat was scorching and in the middle of nowhere there was one of those bathtubs farmers use to provide water to cows, except it had a few beer and soda cans with a little tin can to drop some coins.
It powered me through the pass and 3000m of descent to the next village by nightfall.
