Dobrý den dear Neighbors,
I have found a message in a bottle in Dresden (Drážďany). 3 little candles were also in this bottle. As you seee in the pictures.
With google Translate, I came to this conclusion:
Somebody is unhappily in love and writes this letter. Throws it in the river in hope his love finds is.
A second somebody finds this in december 2006, doesn't understand it and give it back to the river with his additional writing.
A third somebody (me) finds it nearly 9 years later.
I think now its my turn, to write a short note and give it back to Labe/Elbe
Do any of you have a different interpretation? Or a good translation? Or knows the author?
Greetings from Německo,
Na shledanou!

I’m not sure it’s “unhappily”. Also, it’s a girl on girl love apparently(either that, or poor grammar).
on the first sign it seems like some lesbian love letter…
but in my eyes it seems like mother who lost her daughter tbh
I love you!
and I have only 2 wishes
the first one is … YOU
and the second one is … US
I lock our love in this bottle so it would last for as long as possible and we both stayed happy and healthy
You are the love of my life, remember that!
*(using fem. plural version of adjectives – so it is likely love between two girls)*
Fished out 26. 12. 2016 out of Vltava/Moldau by the Charles bridge. I do not understand the meaning of this, I will send it further
Nah, It’s “happy” love, whoever threw this bottle into the river wanted for their love to be eternal. You’re correct on the additional writing by the other person.
The message isn’t all that clear. Seems to me like a mother sent this message at her 3 y.o. daughter’s birthday with a little wish. Someone found this later and didn’t understand it, sent further with extra message.
Since the wish was to lock their love inside the bottle so that it lasts and they both stay happy and healthy, I would lock the bottle again 🙂
Ich grüße Sie!
Since someone unlocked their love from the bottle, they left each other, they are sick and sad… Which is understandable since noone healthy in their coconut would use Papyrus font in 2000+
The whole thing is gae. So draw a skull with crossed bones on it and a map to a treasure marked with X… then toss it into a body of water.
Aw, that’s really sweet. Probably a mum did this for her daughter’s 3rd birthday. I’d write the place and date where I found it, reseal it properly and send it further in your place, as you said:) unless you think it needs a new bottle. But it’s up to you what you choose to do of course
Zabal si do toho svacinu.
Not unhappily, it seems like something a woman did to lock in her love for eternity, or something like that. A feminine plural is used, so it’s love between two women, the form of love is unclear.
Perhaps the three candles are for a third anniversary of a romantic relationship? She wants them both to stay happy and healthy, so I don’t think an unhappy event is related to it.
It could also be a mother hoping for health and happiness of her and her daughter upon the child’s third birthday.
She wishes their love lasts as long as possible, so it seems more like a romantic love to me, because I’m not sure a mother would word it that way. Although she could be concerned for health of one of them, or it’s just a nice wish and I’m reading too much into it.
Thats so cute. Pls, send it to river again and write something to it.
Classic lesbian romance
Conclusion always throw such bottles with alcohol to at least make someone 😃
Long live the lesbian love!
Vytři si s tím prdel.
Ano, žiju sám a jsem incel.
