COVID: Germany cases hit record daily high

  1. >What is the situation for hospitals and vaccines?
With Germany’s vaccination program lagging behind other European countries, Spahn also warned that those unwilling to get vaccinated could face new restrictions, such as being barred from shops and restaurants.

  2. “pandemic of the unvaccinated” Yet there isn’t a single statistic given in the article to back up that claim. 🤔

Does anyone have any proof that hospitalizations are mostly among the unvaccinated? I’m willing to bet most of the new infections are breakthrough cases. Lots of data out there shows that the vaccines offer significantly less protection after ~ five months.

  3. If somebody could advise, please, I’d be grateful.

We’re moving to Germany next week – to Bavaria. 2 vaccinated adults, 2 children, tested before travel, too young for the vaccine. I understand that Bavaria will soon become “red” increasing restrictions. What does it mean to us in practice? Will the stores be open? (furniture, household items, car dealerships)

  4. By the gods I would have never thought that Germany would have such troubles with the vaccine and Covid.
    I’m speechless

  5. I wish they’d just make everything 2G and be done with it already. It’s not like the hardcore antivaxxers are going to come around anymore. Time to get those on board that have just been to carefree or lazy to bother.

  6. OK, serious question here.

I’ve got my J&J shot in late August. I have the yellow book with the sticker and the stamp.

What else do I need when I have to prove that I am vaccinated?

I believe I can go to selected pharmacies and get a digital certificate. How does it work? In other countries you get a card.

How can I prove that I am vaccinated when 2G goes in effect?
