Houses made of cardboard: Builders turn to recyclable, low-carbon material • FRANCE 24 English
It may seem improbable, but houses built out of cardboard are in fact very hard to blow down. The material can be made just as solid as brick, and is an exceptionally effective insulator, not to mention being recyclable. Luke Shrago takes a closer look in this report.

Yeah, cardboard houses. What could possibly go wrong?
Heavy duty carboard does not like flooding or tropical moisture.
That looks good. I wonder if fire will be a problem. Are there fire retardant chemicals which might be included in the blocks?
Wikipedia "Fire Retardant" has the following sentence.
"Commonly used fire retardant additives include mixtures of huntite (Mg3Ca(CO3)4) and hydromagnesite (Mg5(CO3)4(OH)2·4H2O), aluminium hydroxide (Al(OH)3), and magnesium hydroxide (Mg(OH)2)."
How strong are Cardboard houses against fire ?? 🔥🤔far better ↓

There is no problems with using this as a buildingmaterial, that is if you're 5 years old. Anyone heard of water damage or fire?
We need to move away from concrete so ideas like this are great.
