So he killed a CEO and an innocent father? Can someone clarify this please?
The rich ruling class that we are heading into will make an example of this. They will convict him no matter what it takes to make an example for the rest of us minions. Don’t fuck with us.
The trial will set rules so that the defense cannot bring up the 30 BILLION in profits that the CEO helped create. They will not let the defense talk about how many people were denied claims to create the 30 BILLION in profit. They will not allow jury nullification to happen. Watch if the jury would claim he is innocent the judge willl set aside the verdict and rule that he is guilty. Watch
I wonder what ever happened to the tipster?
Wasn’t his lawyer pushing illegal search and seizure when he was arrested….that was quite a bit of evidence on his person at the time of arrest…
Reminder that no school shooter has ever gotten the death penalty
The government cares more about the life of one rich guy than the combined lives of all our school children
Way to further isolate the poor people in this country
I remember reading that the FBI was worried that they would not be able to find 12 people to convict him. I wonder if they are pushing the death penalty in order to push him to a plea deal. I can’t say for certain in any way, but if I were him, knowing how hated health insurance companies are hated in general and UHC in particular, I’d try my luck at a jury trial
All it takes is 1 patriot to say “not guilty” It would turn on the green light.
It’s strange 2A lovers say, “I would rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6” but for some reason, that doesn’t apply to this case?
I think the jury will surprise us all and find him not guilty!
I believe there is reasonable doubt.
I’m also angry that I find myself weighing my words carefully because Reddit now decides which thoughts are appropriate and which are not.
Innocent? How many men had the CEO killed through his decisions to put in place systems which routinely denied essential medical care?
Innocent is not a word I would use to describe that guy. As CEO, he was responsible for the company’s policies, and the shooter held him accountable.
So they really want to inspire even more Luigi’s.
Okay.
Weird how the god botherers all want the death penalty. Have misread it, does it say ‘Thou Shalt Not Kill (Much)’?
Mass shooters can get parole but he gets threatened with the death penalty for killing one guy?
This will ensure his trial will be a hung jury. They won’t be able to convict him.
What about all the people that CEO killed?
What about all the others that died because the insurance denied them care?
Who’s going to get justice for them?
I’m sure his Fuehrer, King Cheetolini, will pardon him somehow.
The CEO was innocent?????
Wouldn’t that make him a martyr though? People already romanticize the guy, and the message seems too obvious even for rich people, seeing all the other big shooters that didn’t get the death penalty. I don’t think the death penalty makes this go away, imo, but I mean they don’t seem to care.
If he gets a trial by jury .I hope they free him
“Jury Nullification”
He is an adult and carefully planned the murder. Yep if we truly value justice and life then he should get the death penalty
There is nothing innocent about this ceo.
Might be a father but far from innocent. The man was a monster murdering thousands of sick ppl.
The Rich will kill us for profit and then kill us for getting mad about it. This is not a capital crime. A capital crime is killing thousands of people by denying them the care they paid for. In effect, they are guilty of robbery and murder -if not genocide of an entire class of people.
