  1. tl;dr: Proton will leave Switzerland if the Federal Council goes through with the planned revision of the surveillance law.

  2. The republik already exposed the NDB for mass surveillance last year. Now they want to make it legal.

    Fuck this. If this happens I will personally take the government to court at the European court for human rights which has ruled in favor of privacy many times before and has blocked attempts from the EU to get backdoors in E2EE.

    They will not get this shit past. Even if I have to collect the 50k signatures for a referendum myself.
