Man they would want to be the best scones in the world.
I got the steak there once. The operation to remove my kidneys wasn’t that sore tbf.
A little off topic, but the circle K off the motorway and the following 500m radius at cashel, has to be the worst place in Ireland.
Criminal. Should be highlighted wider.
Daylight robbery
Bandits
It must be afternoon tea for Mother’s Day or something
>10% gratuity
This angers me immensely. Get fucked
The Lidl bakery are doing 4 fruit scones for €1 this week. Could have bought 196 of them bad boys instead.
That is what happens when you buy food from a hotel owned by the horsey set!
Must be Mrs Doyle special. With cocaine in them!
Oh you want these scones hot? That’ll be another 7 euro
I’ve to go to a wedding there later this year. I’ll be bringing a packed lunch.
Also, auto-gratuity is such a scummy move when serving 3 people. The business is clearly making enough of a mark up on these to pay their staff fully. Instead, it’s passed on to the already fleeced customer to top up their staff’s wages.
Not surprised John magnier owns it
€16.50 for a Scone and a cup of tea?
You can honestly ram that up your fucking arse.
Dick Turpin did it decent…at least he wore a mask😷
That price is to keep the riff-raff out (seriously).
Their rooms are 500 euro a night at least. They can get fooked
Since when the fuck have places started to put tips into the bill?
You pay your staff minimum wage fuck off this isn’t America. If I want to tip I will
I’m gonna flip my shit if I ever see this.
My dad lives in Cashel and he said the place is owned by the Magnier’s and they don’t want the riff raff coming around.
Know someone who stayed there recently told me they were charged €10 for a pint of Guiness
I’m living in london atm and I never thought I would say this but London’s actually way way cheaper when it comes to eating out and just buying groceries and what not.
I’m due to return home in the summer and I’m actually dreading it.
I feel like the pound takes you way Further and you get more for your money compared to the euro.
This is why I didn’t give a shite about pubs and restaurants during Covid. They were robbing bastards before and are still.
Beats me y people pay that
I was surprised to see this is only a four star hotel. Rooms go for €419 to €919 per night according to their website.
No offense to the good people of Cahel and Co.Tipperary but you could fly to a tourist spot in France, Spain or Italy and get a nice hotel for that.
The people who set the prices are greedy but the people who pay them aren’t well in the head either.
