What? No way! Ah man this really sucks. May he rest in peace
RIP in Peace Kazansky
R.I.P. Iceman.
You’ll be missed.
Sad day. One of the absolute best
Is this real? There was literally just a hoax going around yesterday that he died but his reps confirmed earlier today he was alive…. I can’t read this article cause it’s paywalled but they seem to be the only paper reporting it currently.
Me over here like is this another hoax? April fools? Or reality? Idek anymore
I need two more news sources to consider this true.
Rip Val.
“I’ll be your huckleberry.”
No April foolsies?
RIP Doc.
Rip val.
The great Nick Rivers
That fucking shot glass flip will live in infamy. Good man.
Damn I love him! RIP.
Rest Easy Madmartigan.
Nooooooo. I fell in love with him in Top Secret. Also The Doors. Also Top Gun. Also Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and every other movie he’s ever been in.
He commanded attention on the screen every time he appeared. One of the greats for sure. RIP, Iceman.
He’ll be Batman Forever ✊🏻
“We started a game we never got to finish. Play for blood remember?”
“Oh I was just foolin about”
“I wasn’t”
Rest in peace batman, you will be missed
As these actors that I grew up with pass away, it makes you realize how short life is. Thanks for making my childhood great, I saw Willow more times than I can count.
RIP. You’ll always be my Huckleberry.
RIP – he had some of the best movie quotes
“Would you classify that as a launch problem or a design problem?” – Real Genius
“Not enough steaks in the freezer” – Heat
“I’ll get drive thru” – Batman Forever
RIP Doc Holliday
I’m probably one of the very few that liked his take on Batman. He was such a phenomenal actor. Rest easy, Mr. Wayne.
Rest in Peace to an amazing actor. Absolutely loved him in Willow
Legendary actor with a bunch of legendary roles.
Iceman in Top Gun
Doc Holiday in Tombstone
Madmartigan in Willow
Chris Knight in Real Genius
Jim Morrison in the Doors
Chris Sheherlis in Heat
Not to mention underrated as Batman and great in the Saint.
Rest in peace Val. Thank you for having one of the more memorable careers in film history.
Dude picked the worst day to allegedly die. No one knows if it is real or not.
Until tomorrow I refuse to believe it.
He was so good in The Doors
Gifted article [here](https://www.nytimes.com/2025/04/01/movies/val-kilmer-dead.html?unlocked_article_code=1.8k4.2Iwq._Yi6wjzKf47I&smid=nytcore-ios-share&referringSource=articleShare)
Break on through to the other side..
Worth checking out his filmography. Pretty legendary list and that is with him more or less forced into retirement way too early.
Wow. He was relatively young. That’s a bummer. RIP.
After all the bullshit passed away celeb comments today, I thought it was another joke. RIP Iceman, I’ll fly with you anytime. 🫡
The Real Genius
It’s in a few news outlets now. He had a lot of health issues including cancer so it’s not too unbelievable.
It’s gonna be a tombstone watching again, and that doc Holliday death scene is going to hit like a fucking train.
RIP Val.
I was hoping this was a very poor April fools joke… R.I.P.
“I’m your huckleberry…”
Oh no! He fought for a decade with that terrible disease. RIP, Iceman. 🙏
Awww, man. I loved him so much. Especially as Madmartigan in Willow. So sad. 🙁
R.I.P sir – you will be missed
Good time to check out Val:

RIP.
the funeral scene in Top Gun Maverick is gonna hit hard from now on..
His final performance being Maverick is poetic.
Tombstone and The Saint always stood out for me. I also really liked his role in Felon, a small movie but he really nailed it.
RIP Iceman.
Because he’s my friend. RIP Val
Damn, I was just thinking about him on Heat.
I remember I watched his documentary a couple years ago.
He was all drama. I can see why people liked him and why people hated him.
But he was quite a unique person and a bit over the top, I think hollywood in a way needs more of that.
For me, the best part of his documentary is the relationship he had with his children. They were very close to him, they will deeply miss him.
Well, the rest of this week shall be dedicated to rewatching: HEAT, Top Secret and Tombstone.
Rest in peace Mr Kilmer. Thank you for all the wonderful memories.
This makes me sad. Grew up watching him and his documentary was amazing. Saw him in top gun. Dam this breaks my heart
RIP Iceman. You’ll be missed dearly.
