Soldiers of the Polish Army (Wojska Lądowe), and the Royal Hungarian Army (Magyar Királyi Honvédség) meeting for the first time on the Hungarian-Polish border at the Verecke Pass, on March 16th, 1939, following the Hungarian annexation of Carpathian Ruthenia.
