Lol, well.. that Russian shitbox is not gonna fly anytime soon.
what a balls up
Total Swiss cheese. The turbine engine blades and electronics LOVE lots of little holes in them!
SALVA Ukraine 🇺🇦
Glad the dog is ok
So hey, great and many thanks for the damage assessment. We would never have been able to do it ourselves in this level of detail.
Its not damaged. With that many holes its FUBAR
I doubt those will fly anytime soon. Tungsten does Swiss cheese of the helicopter so they would basically need to replace everything. Doesn’t make any sense as building a new one would be cheaper and faster.
That’s an expensive sieve they’ve got there.
Slava Ukraini
Hopefully this will finally convince the doubters from the previous post that those KA-52’s were f*cked despite not receiving direct hits. And my speculation is also confirmed that the Mi-8’s also got some Tungsten despite the distance from the KA-52’s.
Good stuff. Some are seriously damaged.
It looks damaged, but it is technically scrap metal.
Start it up. Actually interested in what happens next.
They should test flight them anyway 😀
Those holes are tiny. They totally should still attempt to fly those helicopters.
That will not buff out
Just try to fly it anyways, what’s the worst that could happen?
Just shows it doesn’t have to go up in a ball of flames to be totally fucked.
Nah, some tape here and there and off they go. Also adding some putty would be ok, though Putin body filler would be world class.
Im suprised the bulletproof glass stood up so well
“Vladimir, get the blue-tack out! “
“Vlad – get that first one on eBay – only post pictures of the left side…”
Dont want none, dont start none…
hhaahaahahahaaaa, this is awesome! Those helis are scrap, they wont be flying….ever.
That is totaled
I love seeing this! Rushian orcs go home!
Scratch four choppers. They won’t be flying again.
“damaged” bit of an understatement
This is what they were ordering all those boxes of blue tape for recently…. and there was me thinking it was so they could disguise themselves as Ukrainian soldiers and committing further war crimes.
I’m not a expert but I’d say that’s fucked
Looks like a prop from an early 80ties bond movie.
Damaged?
Nah. I think the word op was looking for is – perforated. Good work chaps!
It would take a lot of silly puddy to plug those holes…
How hard are those pellets to penetrate Helicopter like butter
Mil Mi-28, very juicy.
Well, that may be in the shop for awhile.
This needed a double-tap strike, at least…
That’s a write off.
Is tungsten used because if it’s higher heat tolerance to steel?
It’s great that the Russians are actually providing Ukraine with comprehensive battle damage assessments. Keep up the great work! Slavi Ukraini.
Those are now helicopter shaped pieces of decoration.
That tank leaking made it extra funny.
They should just drop those things all over the runways, just scatter bomb them, getting sucked right into take off’s and landings!! Fun stuff… lol
Like fresh cheese
Fighterbomber said that 3/4 helos could fly after the strike and that one mi-8 is just scrap and will be sent to the plant to see if it can be repaired or just disassembled for spare parts
