The social democrat’s election programme for the municipal and welfare region elections is available in English. What are your thoughts?

  1. Native but:

“We do not want to drive nurses, teachers, police, retail workers, hospitality staff and many others into a race to the bottom when it comes to their pay. We want to develop work together, by agreeing and building, rather than tearing down and arguing. ”

Sounds good to me as nurse (as does large part of other stuff). However, it does not promise better pay directly so…
I mean I could take less income taxes as compensation for healthcare workers instead.

Bit of a nitpick, but their promises are better sligned with me than most other parties.

  2. My thoughts are that they are targeting a certain group of people to increase their support, just like any other party does.

Different methods with different kinds of people. The people vote for what they want to hear

  3. They just spew the words that people want to hear. I´m sure some of them have good intentions, but the chances of them changing anything that betters the common person is slim to none. There is no money to spend in Finland now…..

  4. It is a bit lukewarm, as was to be expected.

Or did you mean publishing it in English for international audiences and media?
