Queen Camilla returned to one of her go-to designers for recent engagements in London on Tuesday. The queen consort viewed an installation outside of The King’s Gallery at Buckingham Palace and attended a reception at Clarence House for the 21st anniversary of SafeLives, an organization with a mission to end domestic violence.
Queen Camilla opted for a dress courtesy of London-based designer Fiona Clare. This time, however, the queen consort embraced a contemporary trend with her attire. Queen Camilla wore a black dress with sheer sleeves and a statement collar.

The midi dress featured a slimming silhouette, while the sleeves and collar of the frock featured an animal print design. The sheer sleeves of Queen Camilla’s dress included cinched cuffs. Queen Camilla also styled a pair of Russell & Bromley boots to go with the dress.
As for her accessories, Queen Camilla forwent her recent trend of sentimental brooches for one of her mainstay accessories. The British royal family member wore a bracelet courtesy of Van Cleef & Arpels, a brand Queen Camilla often favors for her day-to-day jewelry pieces.

Queen Camilla regularly styles Fiona Clare dresses for royal events and engagements, regardless of the season. On Feb. 26, the queen consort favored a dark blue skirt and a black jacket by the London-based designer for a celebration of the BBC’s creative writing competition at Buckingham Palace.
Along with the Fiona Clare look, Queen Camilla added a sentimental brooch. The queen consort wore the Tudor Crown brooch for the special occasion. The piece features a silver setting with dazzling diamonds and a base adorned with a single sapphire, ruby, and emerald.

Along with favoring Fiona Clare’s designs, Queen Camilla tends to rewear the designer’s dresses from her collection. The rewear trend is popular among the women in the British royal family, with Kate Middleton restyling several of her wardrobe staples over the years.
