1. These faux macho politicians are a joke. Destroying the environment and the climate just to appear tough to your peers is the least macho thing I can imagine. It screams ‘insecurity’ to me.

2. Woke means caring about things besides yourself. It’s why Trump and team will never become woke.

3. For them, “woke” is anyone who claims the Earth is spherical and revolves around the sun. Anyone who prefers to avoid the death of a child by vaccinating them against the potentially lethal measles. Anyone who sees the records from the Mauna Loa Observatory and is appalled by the levels of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. For them, “woke” is anyone who adds 1 + 1 and gets 2. How pathetic and disgusting they are!

6. Woke = caring about “trivial” concerns that are on the periphery of the immediate human interest of wealth accumulation, resource extraction and the aggressive commodification of everything in sight.
