Numerous Icelanders Seek Dental Services in Budapest

  1. Dental clinics in Budapest, Hungary, have started competing for customers in Iceland. Since 2016, they have served more than 5,000 Icelanders.

The procedures frequently require patients to travel abroad a few times, but still, they are said to be less costly than in Iceland.

  2. Germans go to:

    • Poland and Czechia to have breast implants, have their teeth done
    • Hungary for all other beauty procedures (fat removing, height enlargement, aso)
    • Turkey for hair implants

Germany has good healthcare but is super expensive for not neccessary procedures. So the Germans go abroad. If some complications occur, in 90% of the cases the German healthcare system will cover it. So it’s good and stupid at the same time.
