Ukraine’s Zelensky cautious on new mineral deal proposal from the US • FRANCE 24 English

The US sent Kyiv a new and ‘entirely different’ version of the draft minerals deal proposal on Friday, which would grant the US access to Ukrainian natural resources in exchange for further military support, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said. Ukraine has yet to accept the deal, which now requires further assessment by lawyers, the president added. France24 International Affairs Editor Kethevane Gorjestani says, ‘The new deal seems to be a mix of previous proposals but is largely less favorable to Ukraine than the last version of the deal.

  45. This is ridiculous. Zelenskyy should first spend his all private money on his war before he goes asking other countries that have their own problems.

    He shows more income than other heads of state, he has properties in Yalta, in Italy and on the British Isles, he spends on travels instead of connecting through skype or phone.

    I haven't heard of any national collection among his people.

    Did he take any loans from China like any other country does even the U.S.?

    If his country has resources that's the least he can do to show good will not only take and take the help that I call bullying. He is a bully that takes lunch money from peers.

    His pal from Israel could spare him a nuclear warhead. Did he even asked? Did Israel refuse? Or as I assume this Zelenskyy's freeloader war aims at collecting gifts?
