French companies stunned by US administration urging compliance with Trump’s anti-diversity policy

Donald Trump is targeting certain French companies through an executive order and a letter issued by the US embassy. The letter informs them that if they wish to continue their operations under the new administration, they will have to abandon their principles of equality, parity, and inclusion.

  1. Stop trying to make sense of Trump's insane demands.

All of this are nothing more but more cheap distractions for simple minded people as Trump/Musk tries to distract people from Trump's failures in military OPSEC, the impact tariffs are having on ordinary Americans and the inhumane mass deportation strategy of the Trump administration.

  2. Sounds good discrimination is a crime the EU should do the same, France is a sexiest society forcing DEI what is wrong with you in France? No wonder your company’s are failing, Ubisoft just failed big because of woke DEI content in assassin creed shadows, you should change before China owns all your companies 😂

  3. If it makes you feel any better, as a citizen of the USA, I am equally horrified by the fact that the rest of the world WILL bow to Orange.

I know how frustrating that will be for you.

  4. Fake news title. It's not an "anti-diversity" policy. It's an anti-discrimination law signed by a liberal US president and passed by a liberal-controlled US Congress in 1964. DEI affirmatively promotes discrimination against people with skin color (includinf white skin) or discrimination based on gender quotas. That's illegal, and the US Supreme Court has said so.

  5. Not content with bringing his prejudices to the US, and ruining the lives f millions of people Trump now wants to export those prejudices world wide. This is a dark chapter in the history of the world

  6. Any US company that does business with the EU should have to meet EU labor laws…. Time off, job safety, union representation, fair pay.

  7. Well, waiting for the French Ambassy to send letters to the US headquarters of tech firms demanding they impose French DEI laws or won't be eligible for French gouvernmental contracts. I'm sure Microsoft, IBM, Oracle and other big technology companies would appreciate that.

  8. DEI programs in the USA are illegal. Therefore, any company either American or foreign that make business in the USA cannot have DEI programs in place. Positive discrimination is privilege. Therefore, it will be discriminating against someone else. At least in the USA. American companies operating in France and the EU should continue complying with local laws even if it means hiring incompetent people as long as it comply with their DEI laws.

  9. I’m in a torn space as I’m still kind of shocked he made such a demand yet not entirely surprised either he’s trying to act like king of the world.

  10. Being a US citizen is so embarrassing these days like, we just want lower prices too 😭 not higher prices or war stuff

  11. French and European Union should counter what USA Trump administration policies pressures by making a solid statement that the way European manage its own company and corporate isnt their (USA)business.

  12. "Be racist and sexist or we'll boycott you" is not something I expected a superpower to say when I was growing up, but I guess the world always has new surprises up its sleeve.
