  1. Who’s going to be first to get their phone swiped while taking a photo of it?

  2. At this point, the blue plaques may as well cover the whole of London.

  3. Ooh. This sub won’t like that! They have “had their phone out in London and have never been robbed/it’s not as bad as in Barcelona/that’s what you get for not knowing your surroundings”.

They take any suggestion of phones being snatched, very personally.

  4. lets not solve the problem, instead we’ll just acknowledge it and work around it

  5. And if you’ve had your phone snatched on that spot you’re allowed to sign your name in

  6. Imagine putting a policeman where the police knows there is crime.

    Madness, I tell you.

  7. They should make it legal to beat the shit out of the thief if you can get them off their bike etc

  8. If your phone is stolen and you track it down to a block of flats, call the Met and tell them someone is planning a small protest in one of those flats, they’ll send a 1000 PCs to tear down the whole block and you’ll incidentally get your phone back.

  9. “Look up, Look out” but the sign is on the floor on a busy street. So I would have to stop looking out, look down and read.

  10. Imagine any other profession that would spend money and time advertising its failures. The police seem to have this impression that victims of crime are just idiots generating more work for them.
