  2. No, normal people recognize that this is Putin’s war. Although, I can expect some dumbass comments like this.

Edit: Putin’s and his supporters’ war*

  3. Nah. We don’t hate local russians. Only putinists- that happen to be russian, lithuanian, polish or whatever nationality.

  5. Local russians are fine. Let’s be perfectly clear here, the Russian people don’t deserve hate. Decades of carefully nurtured mistrust, shaped hatred and constructed adoration for a system that hates them.
Although the Soviet Union died away, it’s culture and ideals still linger on in the current “democratic” system of Russia, with a shining example of Soviet-style dictatorship at the top.

I do not want to bomb Russians, I want to bomb Russia and disassemble it’s government. A superpower that time and again has challenged the independence of Baltics and Nordic nations. A superpower that now attempts an invasion. No bordering country is safe from megalomaniacs.

  6. Fuck this guy, honestly. But by the looks of it, he’s 11 or something. So let’s hope he’ll grow out of this *dumb fuck* phase

  7. Tie kas sako ne, aiškina kad čia 4chan ir t.t., turbūt praleido tą įrašą šitam subreddite, kur žmonės siūlė Naująją Vilnią, Šalčininkus, Visaginą atiduoti Rusijai. 100+ komentarų įrašas, kol galiausiai kažkas atkreipė dėmesį, kad gal Lietuvos teritoriją dalinti ne geriausia idėja. Dabar įrašo neberandu, matyt moderatoriai ištrynė, bet nereikia būti naiviems – neapykanta vietiniams rusams tikrai pakilo.

  8. Not a single sane person looks forward to a war. There’s a huge gap between a russian and a putinist. Only a kid with no responsibilities can post this.

  9. Sorry, bet ir man pragyvenus tiek metų šalyje ir nemokėt jos kalbos ir iš principo kalbėt savąją yra not ok. Leidžiu jums sulygint mane su žemėm dabar, pradėkit.

  10. I was born in Lithuania but am a part of Russian minority here. However, learnt Lithuanian language and fully embraced Lithuanian culture, therefore, consider myself Lithuanian. Sadly, must admit, it is more of an exception than the rule. A lot of people I grew up around are consuming Russian media, refuse to learn the language and consider themselves Russians, not Lithuanians.
I have had some negative experiences with people treating me differently the moment they realised I was of Russian descent as I do not have any accent when speaking Lithuanian. But majority of people are really nice and happy to see me actually putting effort into assimilating.

  11. War feeds hate on all sides. “Purging” is too radical, but animosity towards Russians is growing for sure.

  12. Lithuania has not so much problem as Latvia. If war starts in Latvia we have a lot of back stabers compare to Lithuania. And I don’t really want anyone have any war but it comes to that Latvia will have vatnik problem bigger then you guys ( as we know moskal first use inside people)

  13. Definitely wrong to target russians just for their ethnicity. The situation in the world is not caused by Russians, but by Puting and his crew over at the Kreml. People in Russia in support of it are mostly conditioned to the stance through government controlled media and the blockage of iron curtain. Just like back in the Soviet times.

There are people still alive who lived at that time too. Times have changed, but the propaganda has not. Russia has remained stagnant, stayed in the Soviet mentality “thanks” to the horribly corrupt leadership.

Say “NO!” to Putin, not Russians!

  14. Pas mane dirba kolega is Rusijos beje, pasakysiu viena idomu dalykeli kuri jis pasake. Jis nera Putino uztarejas, bet musu rusai kai isgirsdavo is kur jis yra tai jam atvyrai sake ka galvoja.

Labai nemaloniai nustebino zmogu musu situacija, nes pagal ji pas mus rusu putinistu zymiai daugiau nei pacioje Rusijoje. Buvo net Vingio parke Rusijos sventeje ir taip pat sake, kad daugiau ten nepasirodys, del tu paciu priezasciu.

    Liudna blet..

  15. Not really, but if ur looking for Russian sympathy Lithuania is definitely the wrong place, we never had warm feelings about Russia to begin with, now with Russia bombing Ukraine we probably never will.

  16. It’s hard to have sympathy for people who at some point just decided not to care about politics in their country and let a lunatic go seize everything. Now that lunatic is unstoppable.

However these kind of comments look out of normal. I mean tensions are high and there’s definitely lunatics who might go crazy, yet it’s not a major development. Yet.

  17. It’s true about the Russians refusing to learn Lithuanian and how even in shops they still only talk Russian. The problem is no young Lithuanian working at those shops speaks Russian haha

Edit. Russians refusing to learn or talk Lithuanian are usually the older generation people or pro-Putin type. Everyday Russians living in Lithuania will do whatever makes life easier for them and ones around.

Regarding aggressive attitude, I think it’s more talk. We are quite chill and passive with all the lovin from Nato and EU. Might just be the people I have spoken to recently and seen though. Have been living abroad for 8 years now.

  18. We Lithuanians in 2022 know Russia’s ass is grass if they step foot on our territory and any other territory of NATO. We’ve seen our own people persecuted for years at the hands of Russia and we now have the capacity to put up a fight that they’ve never seen before

  19. Probably some kid that has no idea what he’s on about. 100% Fuck any russian that supports Putin or is refusing to integrate into the culture of the place he/she is living in(same goes for any nationality), but any russian or otherwise that is not a fanatic, they don’t deserve to be punished for Putins war.

  20. Honestly I as a lithuanian have nothing agains people of russian decent who put in effort into trying to learn lithuanian and about our culture. However when I se an old russkie yelling at a cashier because they dont know any russian, my blood starts to boil.
