  29. The scales are starting to fall from some eyes on the right. They have a feeling that something is not quite right here. If the tariffs remain for very long, people will quickly start to realize that they’ve been (willingly) punched in the nose. Democrats need to hammer on these economic issues 24/7. I foresee precipitous drops in support when prices rise and government services start failing these folks.

  35. And so was Biden’s, though I would say Biden supporters are less culty than Trump supporters due to voting for Biden specifically because he was the lesser evil, not because anyone likes him.

    As long as Trump exists, Democrats will continue to run shit candidates like Biden and Harris, thinking they can’t lose. What’s pathetic is that they don’t understand that Trump has a baseline support rate of 30% due to his cult of personality, and the only reason Biden won in 2020 was due to Trump’s handling of COVID. High egg prices just doesn’t hit the same.
