The King’s Helicopter – a Leonardo AW139 – flew over Worcester today (April 3) at around 11am.
According to Flight Radar, the helicopter is travelling from Odiham to Kemble.

Two new leased Leonardo helicopters were added to the monarchy’s fleet by the end of 2024 and replacing their 15-year-old predecessors.

The two Augusta Wetland AW139 helicopters run on 50 per cent sustainable aviation fuel and are believed to cost £8.5 million each.
The website added that the helicopter surpasses all other intermediate helicopters in capability, speed and ride quality, it can carry up to 10 passengers and offers ample room for accessories, including telecommunications, entertainment systems, dedicated workspace, refreshment area and stowage.
