At the end of the day, the US and Europe are far far closer than our adversaries would want. Perhaps if Xi followed Jintao’s lead and continued China on a path of liberalism and democracy, theyd actually have a point.
We bicker because we can. Just need Europe to develop and stand as tall as the US so we can be true partners. Not have to be wary about each others intentions. Just need the EU to stick like glue for the future.
Western democracies should stop doing business enabling bloody dictators. That includes China.
They did. They all independently looked and decided China is an authoritarian shithole who is a threat to peace and human rights but happens to be really good at making certain things.
