Imagine recognizing your son or husband in all of these items.. Fuck.
There was a German soldier found last year in a forest next to where I live. He died 80 years ago. In Paris, an American bomb was dug up from the middle of train tracks. These wars leave scars for centuries, rather than decades.
Celebrating 80 years of liberation of my village soon. Documenting the whole process felt weird. These 18-25 year old boys gave their all for a country they didn’t know much about, but they fought for what was right. I’d hope everyone would see this today, to not share more blood tomorrow.
Hromadske has an interview with Oleksii Yukov from Platsdarm, it’s worth your time to read.

My cousin went MIA on Dec. 16th, 2023. I’ll keep the location to myself. Great friend as well. The family just wants closure. Thank you to one and all for your great work. Slava Ykraini !
My friends who live in Izyum of Kharkiv told me he still casually walks by Russians soldiers bodies who had been killed in the early days of the fighting and are still laying exactly where they had fallen for the last three years. All skeletons with traces of rotten camo clothing and encased combat gears by now.
Sad to think about the fallen Ukrainians who hasn’t been given a proper burial, and a closure for the family.
It should be Putin and his supporters lying dead in the mud.
Honourable work.
I hope they’re able to do this with the Russians securely gone soon
