  1. As a Virginian I am more and more proud of Tim Kaine.

  2. If they’re your Senators, call them to let them know you’re proud of them for this. If they’re not, call your Senators and ask them why the fuck they’re still giving that genocidal regime money.

  3. Imagine if Harris were president

    – We would be continuing the $1.2b in humanitarian aid to Palestine from last administration

    – Palestinians would continue to be welcome in the US as refugees

    – The US would still be working with other countries to welcome Palestinians as refugees

    – The Israelis who committed violence against Palestinians would still be sanctioned

    – There would still be a 2,000 pound bomb restriction

    – 24,000 assault rifles would still be blocked

    – The UN Human Rights Council would still be funded

    – We would not have an anti-protester task force

    – We would not have given $12 billion to Israel last month

  4. Fuckin’ A. You know, if they’d had a spine a year ago we wouldn’t have trump.

  5. I sure hope they don’t end up in El Salvador

  6. > In addition to Sanders, Democratic Sens. Richard Durbin (Ill.), Martin Heinrich (N.M.), Mazie Hirono (Hawaii), Ben Ray Luján (N.M.), Tim Kaine (Va.), and Andy Kim (N.J.) voted in favor.

    > So did Ed Markey (Mass.), Jeff Merkley (Ore.), Chris Murphy (Conn.), Brian Schatz (Hawaii), Tina Smith (Minn.), Chris Van Hollen (Md.), Elizabeth Warren (Mass.) and Peter Welch (Vt.).

  7. I mean they said they wanted it to be America first and no more spending money on other countries. Why should Israeli be special?

  8. Booker wasn’t one of them, which really makes me look at his 25-hour speech as more performative, particularly about America needing to confront her sordid past…

  9. Only 15 Dems voted to stop funding genocide? Wow, we are fucked as a country.

  10. According to the GOP: money for Ukraine = bad, money for American citizens = bad, money for Israel = good?

  11. I knew Booker wouldn’t be on this list given his ardent embrace of Israel & Zionism. Schumer and Gillibrand stay consistent in their obeisance to AIPAC as well.

  12. So little so late. Its good that they are finally taking a stand though.

  13. Where’s Booker’s names!? I was told that he was the next big thing because he yapped for a day! Is he just the same old centrist lib he’s always been?!

  14. They have a GDP per capita bigger than ours. We shouldn’t be donating to them, they can pay for whatever they need

  15. Thank you to these brave 15. But wow, what a shame on all the others.

  16. If there was a Democratic majority now, they would squeak those billions out

    They always do.

But thanks for pretending that you have standards, it’s nice

  17. Why only 15? Stand the f*ck up, all of you, and stop the genocide.

  18. Brave! They will be attacked by AIPAC, smeared as pro-Hamas and anti-Semitic, but I hope they stand tall and proud with their vote & I hope enough sensible voters back them up and remain unswayed by AIPAC propaganda.

  19. More of them need to stand up to AIPAC. The DNC should have listened more to the anti-genocide protesters.

  20. Good being anti israel is a good thing we should be actively hampering them

  21. This war should’ve ended a long time ago though Netanyahu has purposefully prolonged the war.

  22. >15 Senate Dems vote to cancel billions in Israeli military aid

About fucking time – good job! Hopefully, this’ll start a trend.

  23. Cory Booker can run his mouth for hours to get a bunch of useless press but won’t vote to stop a genocidal fanatic government in Israel. Nice.

  24. Good. Maybe if Israel doesn’t have their big bully friends to back them up, they won’t be so supportive of those damn settlers stealing Palestinian land.

  25. I’m pretty sure there are more than 15 Dems in the Senate, though. Disappointing.

  26. The US should have stopped enabling Israel’s psychopathy long ago. The fact that they probably have nuclear weapons is terrifying.

These are the only senators with principles.
