  1. Sadly, all too often people will find it easier to forgive a person for having been wrong, than for having been right.

  2. Harris tried to warn us but some people didn’t listen.

  3. Trump also told us so, to be fair, and people chose to believe neither of them.

  4. I and many of my friends heard and believed what you said, unfortunately many folks I know did not, they accepted all of the misguided claims and flat out lies he and his MAGA’s spread, but this week he has gotten into their billfold’s and the scales are falling off their eyes.

  5. Crickets in the conservative sub about the stock market.

Just mental gymnastics to maintain their confidence in Trump.

  6. I voted against Trump 3 times. Americans need to be hurt badly before learning.

  7. We must continue to rub salt in this self-inflicted MAGA wound. They voted for this and we warned them of this yet they laughed it off and chose to worry about <1% issues along with the price of eggs.

  8. Trump did say if we voted for Kamala, we would end up in a recession… it might be the only genuine thing the asshat has ever said because I did vote for her, and I’m still stuck in a recession because of him and the Republican party.

  9. Yeah, but *Harris*~~Clinton~~ just wasn’t likeable. Fuck all the clowns that didn’t show up to vote or who voted third party.

  10. It must be so frustrating for her and Hillary. It’s like you have a PhD in Mathematics so you apply for a mathematics lecturer position and you lose out to Terence Howard, who conned the interviewers with rambling monologues about “1×1=2”.

  11. Just proves that on average Americans are not too bright.

  12. She should be our president right now….

But I guess the party this country has been having for damn near a century just needed to end not be extended into the late night.

It was time for us to lose our position as the major superpower in the world.

It was always going to happen it just got sped up 50x faster than it would’ve happened.

    Accelerationist have won.

  13. Yup, and as much as I know that she is a caring person, I hope she has a bit of pettiness in her, in the sense that she has no empathy for those that voted for all the shitshow that is currently happening.

  14. People either believed she was full of lies, or just refused to listen because they were sure Trump would lower prices.

  15. Yep! It is your fault! The blame is on you American voters! 🫵🏻

  16. Yep! It is your fault! The blame is on you American voters! 🫵🏻

  17. Americans with a clue didn’t need Harris to tell them what trump was and what he would do. By election day trump was well known to be a convicted criminal fraudster, adulterer, attempted coupster, rapist, racist idiot. He literally promised to rule as a dictator if Americans elected him.

I don’t understand why the “I told you so” line makes an audience break out in laughter. Gallows humour? People have suffered and died as a result of trump’s actions, and millions more are going to suffer and die as he continues his reign of idiocy and cruelty.

America is a train crash and I’m watching it with sadness. I see people suffering and it hurts. I felt no joy when she delivered the “I told you so” line. I could not laugh.

  18. To be fair everyone except maga supporters have been saying it.

But now it’s happened… it’s still everyone but maga supporters saying it. Its amazing to see how many still flat out deny an economically inept president is leading them into a recession (and deny that he is the worst deficit president by a long way …)

  19. She knew, because Trump told them with open mic in big public rallies

  20. Kamala needs to start every speech with ‘I told you so’ and end every speech with ’I told you so’.

  21. And the damage will linger long after Trump leaves office. The aftershocks of this will reverberate throughout the lives of generations to come.

  22. Half the country needs to go through cult deprogramming.

  23. Trump told us what he was going to do. No one who voted for Trump should be acting surprised. Much of what Trump is doing he stated he would do during the campaign. If you voted for Trump, this is all on you.

  24. Jesus the amount of butthurt in this thread. Kamala was right and so many of you are hung up on still blaming her.

  25. Most of the world is saying, “I told you so!” (expletives deleted)

  26. Me too, a lot of us knew. That’s why we wanted A REAL FUCKING PRIMARY

  27. She actually said “I’m not gonna say I told you so”. This headline is giving the opposite vibe of the clip. Stop stirring us up, we’re going through enough.

  28. I just picture her watching the news at night, slowly shaking her head.

  29. People who lost their job because of Trump, still support Trump.

People who are imprisoned because of Trump, still support Trump.

People who lost loved ones because of Trump, still support Trump.

They lost freedom, family and money, and they still don’t see it. People are willingly submissive to him. Saying *’I told you so’* does nothing to them.

  30. I think the fact that such a large part of American society is actually so incredibly dumb should be studied.

The number of Americans that just don’t believe basic facts from vaccines to flat earthers and all the crazy conspiracies in between is insane.

You tell a MAGA that it was Trump who organised operation warp speed and that he himself and his team all had the vaccine that “evil” Dr Fauci had created they all start haemorrhaging.

  31. This sub was wild in the days after Harris’ loss. People couldn’t stop putting the blame on Harris and Biden, as though it wasn’t important enough to vote against Trump. Right now it’s too hard to ignore what Trump is doing but give it some time and people will start having the lack of urgency to go vote again.

  32. Sure, she told us this would happen, but what were we supposed to do? Vote for a woman? What if she got on her period and threatened war against a close ally, like Canada? That would be so bad!

  33. She was right and so was Hilary.
dislike them all you want -neither of them are fascists. Sexism was a huge part of America turning fascist. Pathetic and embarrassing

  34. Doing a I told you so to a crowd of what is likely to be people that voted for her seems like an odd move.
