  7. I personally spent my career attempting to clean up, including going to Kuwait for the fires. It wasn’t enough.

    In retirement, I have worked on supporting cleaner alternatives to what we have been doing. The effect Trump may have is to induce a recession and cut our economy just like the Smoot-Hawley act did in the 1930’s.

  8. Economic turmoil and recessions usually cause greenhouse gas emissions to fall too. It is the stupidest and socially most harmful way to go about it, but he could have caused more damage if he didn’t crash the economy. He is doing stupid degrowth.
