  3. The press ran about 999 pieces on who voters thought would be the better President for the economy, versus about 1 piece on who economists thought would be better on the economy. They relentlessly reinforced the misconception that if the economy was your issue then Trump was your guy – and that Democrats would have to win on some other issue if they were to win at all.

    If a person only consumed 10 minutes of American news, they’d have to assume Democrats caused post-pandemic inflation and that America was the only nation affected.
