Nothing sinister in his motives… so stealing a car isn’t “sinister” enough. I mean it’s great he wasn’t after the child but still. The mother shouted at him that there was a child there and he still kept going instead of getting out of the car at that moment. AND all those previous convictions… when you’ve got that bloody many, maybe they should just throw away the key. At some point you surely have to draw a line!

Em that’s a bit of a harsh sentence for what he did. Not excusing him at all and the family went through hell picturing the worst but he was hardly going to hurt the child. When he copped that the kid was in the back seat he scarpered. The child was found safe and sound. 7 years for that and yet that pos Kyle Hayes can break the law several times and not serve a day in jail. Shocking.
