“Behind enemy lines! Archive video from Toretsk, filmed by soldiers of the assault regiment “Luhansk” of the National Police brigade “Liut”. During a planned troop rotation, the M113 armored personnel carrier, in which the soldiers were transported, ran into a minefield set up by the Russians.
This moment became critical for the entire unit, because the Defenders ended up in the enemy rear, where every second could be the last. Being surrounded by the enemy and under constant fire, our guys didn’t lose their composure. Without panic and in a coordinated manner, they were able to quickly regroup, assess the situation and provide assistance to their wounded brothers in arms. The brigade’s soldiers fought their way out of this hell and reached adjacent positions, demonstrating incredible endurance and determination. Each of them knew that not only his life was at stake, but also the lives of his comrades.
Our fighters have proven that they fight not only for their country, but also for their brothers in arms. They are ready to come to each other’s aid at any moment. Such moments are imprinted in memory forever and become a symbol of the invincibility of the spirit of Ukrainian warriors.”
That’s some intense footage right there. Can’t even imagine what is/isn’t going through the mind during something like that
0:53 dog still living in the city.
That guy got shot twice and the vehicle literally blew up with them inside it. I don’t know how they got out so easily. One moment they were inside the APC the next there were flames then all of the sudden they are outside.
Wild. When they’re running at 2:20-2:30 or so you can see the rounds being fired at them skipping off the ground and hitting the wall behind. Amazing they survived being under direct fire like that.
