6. I read the entire article but still don’t understand why the gold was here in the first place. I don’t know why any country would trust another country with their gold — not in this day and age.

13. They could transport it to Canada temporarily. I read that the Swiss only trust 3 nations to store their gold outside of what they store at home: America, Canada and United Kingdom. So a short term move could be to send it north to the Canadians, and then decide where it should go.
