It really doesn’t. Everyone seems to understand that Poland’s growth comes almost solely from the EU’s continuous support, except Polish politicians who want to make it look like they are responsible for it *despite* the EU.
But many europeans are tired to pay for Poland’s ungrateful success.
So of course the current situation has a negative impact on growth perspectives for Poland. The idea is that there won’t be EU-financed growth in Poland as long as they don’t respect their part of the deal. There isn’t a debate about values and democracy on one side, and growth and economics on the other. It’s all related.
