  26. Peter Navaro got the job as tariff guru from a book he wrote called Death by China in which he straight-up lied about the guy he got all his wisdom from: Ron Vara. This is a transparent and obvious anagram of his own name. There is no Ron Vara. He is an invention. A lie.

    It also suggests that his book publisher, Prentice Hall, does not do editorial fact checking, so fuck them as well.

    Navaro is a liar and a quack. He knows nothing about trade, at least nothing worth listening to.
