Despite Prince Harry and Meghan Markle leaving the Royal family years ago, they’ve worked diligently with Netflix shows, memoirs, and of course, Meghan’s new brand, As Ever. With the new brand comes Meghan’s 2.0 lifestyle era, and thus, a lot more photos of their two kids Princess Lilibet and Prince Archie.

During Hello! magazine’s Right Royal podcast, Matt Wilkinson, the royal editor of the Sun, hosts Emmy Griffiths and Andrea Caamano, and HELLO!’s royal editor, Emily Nash all spoke bout the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Specifically, Wilkinson spoke about how he believes the lovebirds disagree on one major thing: posting about their kids.

“My understanding of this is that, up to a certain stage, Harry would much rather his children were not seen,” he said, claiming how Meghan. “Whereas Meghan grew up in California, she once said she would like to have a more California-style lifestyle, take them down the beach, go out, do stuff. She doesn’t want to hide them away.”

While the panel discussed the possibility of Archie and Lilibet getting snapped when they are older, Matt said: “I think Harry’s living in [like things are] the way they were when he was a child […] the media landscape has shifted.”

The landscape has shifted greatly since then, and with many celebrity parents, fans only see the celeb kids through social media posts. So while Harry may allegedly be not-too-thrilled about Meghan posting about the family of four, she does do what a lot of celeb parents do: hide their faces, still.

For those who don’t know, Harry and Meghan started dating in 2016, and by April 2018, they were married in a beautiful royal ceremony. Since then, they’ve welcomed two children together named Prince Archie, born in May 2019, and Princess Lilibet Diana, born in June 2021.

In a previous interview with People, Meghan talked about her daughter, and how she hopes she’s inspired by the legacy she leaves behind.

“Being able to have my own little girl, as I’ve spent so much of my life championing the rights of girls and women, and to be able to see this as a multigenerational story — Archie is of course included in that, my husband is of course included in that — but I love the heritage feeling of it and knowing this is something that I can create in front of my daughter and teach her what it’s like to be a working mom,” she said. “This is something that hopefully can be part of her legacy too.”
