17. We all know politics is full of corruption, but how do you bring the corrupt to justice without it appearing to be for selfish political motives. Its a difficult question.

    It was the same with Trump in the US, a lifelong conman with no respect for the law, but any attempt to make him accountable to the law was done too late and with kid gloves because of the fear of a political backlash.

    Do we allow politicians to be above the law, or should the law apply to everyone, if so how to do it fairly when a prominent politician is involved?

43. Can someone find me the French law that the court says Marine Le Pen violated and the stated consequence on an official French government site? I'm finding things like " la dégradation nationale" and " 2017-1339 du 15 septembre 2017 pour la confiance dans la vie politique" and "2016-1691 du 9 décembre 2016 relative à la transparence, à la lutte contre la corruption et à la modernisation de la vie économique" "Loi Sapin 2" but the site is in French and I can't find the exact laws so far and the French and all the extra legal pages not pertaining to it searching through that is hurting my brain. Its not as easy as finding a specific amendment and section like in the US. I just want to know the law they used and where can I read it.
