1. peaceful protest is mostly a way to feel slightly better about yourself by commiserating with other people who are vaguely mad about the same things (the inverse would be doing the same thing online and feeling slightly worse about yourself)

   That may lead to meaningful change in other countries but won’t in the US so lol but you know let the libs have a treat

2. They will do everything short of engaging in actually effective (read widespread violence) methods to achieve positive changes in society, including these vibe protests.

   If you’re just going to protest, at least do it right by learning from the tactics used during Arab Spring and forcefully shut down normal life for the offending regime. These peaceful protests are just mild inconveniences to them at worst, and very likely ignorable.

3. It’s everywhere (except for in November when it was needed lol)
