The police lied about the events and even had the nerve to victimize the MAGA guy even though there’s video evidence of the MAGA guy being able to leave but instead they chose to come back with their gun and was being aggressive before and was told to back up many times. He and his wife had planned to go there in the first place yet the police lied and said they were randomly there.

  5. He was released because he “acted in self defense?”

    He didn’t have the rifle on his person when he was headbutted and brandish it immediately after.

    He left to his vehicle- which he could have used to move to a different area of the event and escape the conflict threatening his safety- and retrieved the rifle, and then returned to the scene with the intent to restart the fight on his terms.

    That’s not self defense. That’s an angry man wanting to get the bigger, deadlier, swing in, and a police force happy to help him do it.

    ‘Hands Off’ rally is a bipartisan movement for Pro-America.

    It is no longer about Republicans VS Democrats. It’s now about saving democracy and MAGA will continue to come in to incite violence at these protests. 2 MAGA counterprotestors were arrested, with 3 more under active investigation.

    We didn’t need to storm the Capitol waving our weapons to send a message. We didn’t need to shit on Nancy Pelosi’s desk, and we sure as hell didn’t need to scream “I got one” while beating the shit out of Capitol police officers just doing their jobs. MAGA and the Trump Regime are domestic terrorism.

    The man left the confrontation, returned to his vehicle, retrieved a weapon, re-engaged the confrontation, now armed against unarmed opposition,and the police determined ***self-defense***. Hogwash. This was escalation, pure and simple. There was no threat. There was a manual engagement, which he thought he would win, and he lost, so he escalated it by bringing a gun to a headbutt. In my useless opinion, he is at fault.

Come in unprovoked and cause a scene, antagonize the threaten people, then as soon as there’s any kind of consequence, go and cry about how you’re the victim and how it now somehow justifies your retaliation.     3- he THEN retrieved the rifle
    4- he re-engaged and escalated the confrontation

    There is zero case for self defense here. Any barely functional prosecutor would slam dunk this case.

  31. The same thing happened at a protest in Austin, Texas a few years ago. The MAGA cult member drove over an hour from Killeen to antagonize protesters at a BLM rally, stated beforehand on social media that he’d like to shoot them, brings his pistol with him, drives aggressively and almost runs over protesters to start an altercation, shoots and kills a protester who happens to be holding a rifle that wasn’t pointed it at him, is RIGHTFULLY convicted of murder, and is promptly pardoned by the MAGA governor.

    MAGA governors love it when you kill people they hate.

  34. He went to a peaceful, positive protest to bring hate and violence and he got his ass handed to him by the crowd. There are a lot more good people than bad. Not worth it. Hopefully this will server as a lesson to others thinking about doing the same.
