Enjoy the weather this weekend? Get terrorised by water fowl? Exciting week ahead?
Come have a natter!

Had a very chilled yet productive weekend, the highlights being a particularly good fry up yesterday morning, managing some garden time, and figuring out why my boot light didn’t work (it wasn’t plugged in!) so feel particularly accomplished
MOT day. My sphincter and my wallet are both trembling. 16 year old German car with notoriously expensive parts. What could possibly go wrong?
At least I am not at work today so I can drown my sorrows if it fails (and if I can afford to).
Back to work today after 4 days off last week.
And I’ve got to try and train a new starter. 🤦♂️🙏
One week until Easter holidays and it’s my daughter’s worst day of the week! She hates school and is neurospicy, so Mondays are tough. Hopefully I’ll get her there without too much bother.
On the upside, the dog is 2 today!
After a weekend spent dealing with pukey kid, she says she is feeling much better now so I’m hoping today will be our last quarantine day and I can get the girls out for a bit tomorrow (mid morning tomorrow will be 48 hours vomit free, unless she’s sick today).
So today I think some animal crossing, a bath, and maybe today I’ll manage to cook a proper dinner rather than “picky bits for the non puking child, toast for the puking child if she wants it, salad for me and other adults sort yourself out”. Not a bad day but I am getting antsy to do something that feels like I’m on Easter holiday, rather than just a lazy sicky weekend!
Must be a lot of sore heads today. All the pubs was packed and Facebook full of beer garden pics
Had one of those Sundays where wake up – around 1:30pm seemed to take 3 weeks, then 1:30pm to 10pm was a nanosecond long.
Went to Street near Glastonbury at the weekend. Absolutely glorious weather, I grew up in the countryside and now live in suburban hell.
Every year my desire to move to the countryside grows.
I sell a jar of pickles a week, I have a budget of £69,098,578 I should go on that TV show!
In between jobs picked a great time for it. Glorious weather.
I’m on off site training for the next three days, and it starts at 0930 when I normally start work at 0800! And I’ve been there before and it’s an hour and a half on the bus but now I have a car it’s a twenty minute drive.
I am loving this lie in
I spent just over 20 minutes waiting to get on the motorway this morning so I can show my face at the office. My journey is usually 40 minutes when the traffic is fine, so an hour in the car wasn’t my favourite way to start a week.
IBS is churning too despite the Imodium I popped this morning. Lovely!
Apparently today is called “Monday”
What does that even mean? Who came up with that idea?
How long have we been doing this for?
Why are we still doing this?
Sorry I’m in a very strange mood today.
Going on holiday tomorrow, so today is preparation day! Wax at 11 am. Eyebrows after. Bit of lunch, then my hair dyed and blown dried this afternoon. Packing this evening.
I think if I were to ever kms it’ll be on a weekday morning. Just lay back in bed, put the gun to my head and pull the fucking trigger
