I feel like when the first part of the headline is “given £750,000 gift” you can leave off the “from a millionaire” bit on the end.
So, if I understand correctly, Mrs Isbilen wanted to sneak her money out of Turkey, which was against Turkish Law. Mr Turk was going to help her, and by way of payment Mrs Isbilen paid £750,000 to Prince Andrew and Sarah Fergusson, so that Mr Turk could get a UK passport. However, Mrs Isbilen came to distrust Mr Turk and told Andrew and Sarah, who repaid the £750,000.
Andrew and Sarah have apparently done nothing wrong.
Why is this man not in the bin? Seriously. He is a stain on our nation.
I’m struggling to understand if Andrew has actually done something wrong. I want to say that I think he *was* doing something wrong up to the point he handed the money back.
Just bin the monarchy for fucks sake, there isn’t a good one among them. Fuck them off and sell their shit to pay people’s energy bills.

The story gets stranger according to the daily fail (I could probably find another source) [Her husband](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10676941/Husband-millionairess-paid-750-000-Prince-Andrew-serving-life-sentence-Turkey.html) is serving a life sentence for his participation in the 2016 “coup” against Erdogan. I’ve no idea what to make of this, on one hand, it’s Andrew and dodgy dealings, and on the other hand he really does some caught up some kind of ploy for her to escape Turkey.
