LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), April 7 (SeeNews) – The Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) said it has approved a 50 million euro ($54.7 million) loan to Slovenian state-owned export and development bank SID Banka to finance municipal infrastructure projects in the country.

“The CEB loan will support housing initiatives that benefit low-income and vulnerable groups and promote social cohesion; it will also respond to the post-2023 flood recovery needs,” CEB said in a press release on Saturday.

The CEB is a multilateral development bank, whose unique mission is to promote social cohesion in its 43 member states across Europe.
