Staging details have been revealed for the performance of the Danish entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025, “Hallucination”.

In an interview with Eurosong DK, the head of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix, Erik Struve Hansen, has revealed information about the staging of Sissal’s song, “Hallucination”, in Basel. The staging will be completely reworked compared to the performance at the Danish national selection. The intro to the song is also said to have been reworked, with the first ten seconds of the performance to feature effects on the track that will also support the visuals.

Struve Hansen reveals that four dancers will accompany Sissal on stage, along with a larger prop. This prop is described as a large piece of fabric that will surround Sissal, as well as being able to change colour and move with the help of a wind machine, described to mimic the feeling of a hallucination. It is also revealed that the performance will include more close-ups shots and focus more on the singer than before.

Finally, it is revealed that Sissal will be wearing a new outfit for her performance on the Eurovision stage. She is described as starting out in a black and white outfit, which later changes to a blue outfit during the course of the performance.

Sissal won Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2025 with the song, “Hallucination”, and will represent Denmark at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel. She will perform 11th in Semi-Final Two on May 15. Find out more about Sissal below:
