UK police make more than 30 arrests a day for offensive online messages

1. Dear God England, what is going on over there? Have you got such a handle on crime that police are able to stoop to this? Surely there are better ways to spend public resources than grabbing someone for emailing a school too much.

2. Welcome to another episode of government simultaneously cutting vital services while being very vocal about spending more on non issues! 

   In episode #2236 we saw our infrastructure continue to crumble while the government announced it will give away money to give out an island for the lolz, and today’s episode is about murderers getting away so we can arrest some random guy who said something mean online and hurt literally no one.

   Will the government continue to make the completely incorrect decision again and again, or will they finally pretend to care about the people? Find out in this weeks episode!

3. Some of them are valid, dressing up as someone that willfully and indiscriminately killed many children and the public at a concert should not be dressed up as, Halloween party or otherwise.

4. Jeebus fucking christ, UK…that’s some serious Big Brother shit. How in the fuck “offensive” speech gets equated to “dangerous” speech is beyond me, and I think beyond anyone with reasonable intelligence. This the UK police seem to be lacking in, or is that too “offensive”? Threatening speech is wildly different and *ought* to be seen to, but knowing the difference between “That guy is a dick” and “I’m gonna cut off that guy’s dick” isn’t too damned difficult.

5. Ironically I just got my first suspension warning on my Reddit for a comment I made on this post.

   I’m not going to repeat it but it was VERY mild.

   This place is becoming a joke..
