There’s no good buying opportunities in a good economy. He’s crashing it on purpose, so the rich can buy cheap as people retiring are selling everything to keep some of their retirement intact.

All he had to do was shut up, play golf, and put in the odd semi-conservative policy for his term and I could’ve gone ‘meh’ and this is coming from a hard blue Democrat here. Now? My hatred for Republicans is at a massive high.
It’s not just savings, the bigger issue is what happens when a economy violently contracts. Companies will first cut overhead and less jobs means less spending and less consumer confidence. Higher costs of building materials means less new construction, meaning higher rent. All of this will drastically contract the economy further.

It’s not just your 401(k). I’m sick and fucking tired of people thinking it’s just the people with money on the market that get affected by this. It impacts Main st squarely when investments stop. When money doesn’t move the economy shrinks, inflation grows. Unfortunately the rich become disproportionately richer when the market is doing well and the poor disproportionately poorer when it’s doing bad.
Im not advising anyone else do this. But I took a loan out on my retirement to freeze half of my funds until the loan is paid back at 8%. So ill keep at least half 🤷🏽♂️
TBF, it’s not just Americans who are feeling the pain from the Orange Turd’s actions; but everyone else around the world. I’ve watched my portfolio catch a beating over the past week.
And now he’s telling everyone to just let the economy keep tanking because it’s part of his magic plan.
Trump claimed the other day that he inherited an “economic catastrophe” from Biden.
Here’s the truth: “**President-elect Trump will inherit unquestionably the strongest economy for an incoming administration since the George W. Bush administration.**”
Trumps REAL job is to destroy the USA. His attacks during his first term weren’t very successful, so he was directed to change his attacks to our international relations and the stock market.
It seems he is having better success there.
It’s purposeful.

It is nice watching all these CEOs and other high paid business managers who supported him because they needed to make more money with his tax cuts for the rich, loosing their shit over the markets tanking from his tarrifs. Pretty sure this is the find out part.
