2. Should be in the “Facepalm” sub. Ukraine seems to be holding its own in the 3 day operation, wouldn’t you say.

4. While it’s quite natural, therefore understandable, that Victoria Spartz has no balls, there’s no excuse for her being completely and utterly spineless.

5. Ukraine is winning. It’s not evident for everybody yet, but Russia has culminated on the battlefield, logistics are disrupted by Ukrainian drone attack and Russian soldiers are dying faster than they can be recruited. The economy is on its knees. They are soon out of minorities and prisoners. Once the sons of ordinary Russians start dying, Putin may lose his support.

As someone who was in a US HS during 9/11; one of the biggest shocks to me has been the shift from Republicans from the “pro-war” “if you aren’t with us your against us” “stop the tide of global dictators and terrorists” party to shameless apologist rhetoric supporting an authoritarian terrorist state. Its at that point you realize how devastating citizens united was, and how (shockingly small for what they got) political donations laundered by foreign powers and filtered by right wing propaganda just really made the GOP a pro-dictatorship, anti-global democracy party.
