Harley-Davidson motorcycles and hundreds of other U.S. goods ranging from boats to peanut butter will soon be subject to tariffs when imported to the European Union, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing a document on the matter that it reviewed. Member states must first vote on the tariffs, some of which would go into effect on April 15.

However, Kentucky bourbon and California wine will be spared from the levies. Earlier Monday, European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen said that while the E.U. was ready to negotiate, it was also prepared to defend its interests.

The measures indicate that the EU is taking a middle road between China’s hard-line stance of direct retaliation for Trump’s tariffs versus the complete elimination of tariffs offered by other countries such as Vietnam and Israel. The administration said that some 50 countries want to negotiate with the U.S. following last week’s broad tariff announcement.
