Considering we have an opt out system for organ donation this could potentially make thousands of not tens of thousands of women become mothers if they wish. Numbers are ambiguous at best with so many conditions (endometriosis, pcos etc) but regardless of the numbers it’s worth looking into.
There’s a far right group who doesn’t like trans women unhappy about this, thinking there’s some correlation.
While the progress is groundbreaking and could very well be transformative for millions, my mind still wonders how this will affect children in the care system.
It works! So this means Trans people having babies may very well be something that happens in the next 5-10 years. This is fantastic news for women (both cisgender and transgender) but terrible because of the intensity of the debates that will be happening… Such a mixed bag
So sis lost her womb ?
