The charges relate to four women, and the comedian and actor will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court in London on May 2, police said. Brand denies the allegations against him.
    * Brand is also facing a separate civil sexual assault case in the U.S. after a woman named only as Jane Doe filed a lawsuit against him in 2023 in the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Suffolk County. The case accuses him of sexually assaulting her in a bathroom and exposing his penis to her on the set of the 2011 movie, *Arthur*.

  22. Watching Forgetting Sarah Marshall was enough for me to know what I needed to know about him. He wasn’t acting in that movie and it was noticeable. Been a POS from start. I just hope he actually faces consequences and this isn’t just brushed under the rug and he becomes “born again” in 3 years

    Worth noting is that the L.A. District Attorneys office doesn’t need an open investigation with the LAPD to have enough evidence to press charges in a criminal case. The DA could have enough evidence from witness statements to press charges irrespective of any law enforcement involvement.

  29. After I saw this guy on Norm MacDonald’s podcast, an appearance he botched horribly. Every joke Norm made flew thousands of feet over this idiot’s head. So I stopped clicking on anything having to do with him until a few weeks ago I clicked on a video and realized he was a born-again Christian. He spent that entire Norm Macdonald appearance railing against religion and now he “lives in the light of the Lord.”

    It is a genuine transformation and not an attempt to keep a large audience by appealing to the alt-right. Totally legit. /s

  34. It’s crazy how the allegations over the years went nowhere and his fame grew. I didn’t know much about him until he became the darling mouth piece of the socialist movement. That whole time people know about his actions and activities. Now that he has shifted to Christianity and has moved away from that movement everything is coming out against him.

    I’m not saying there is a connection but it will probably be part of his defenses strategy.

    I remember the Bernie bros hanging on his every word, sharing memes of him, buying his book….
    Making a rapist rich.

    I always told my wife there was something off about him and he wasn’t real he is capitalizing on a movement.
